The Treats That Await Your Day at Our Spa

Whether or not self-care has been part of your normal routine before this year, your body is telling you it’s time to help it recover from stress and disruptions. A day at a luxurious spa can feel like a week on vacation. But day spa services and massages are more than just pampering; 85% of women and men have used massage for medical reasons, too.

At Biz MedSpa in Fremont, California, Donald Lee, DO, and his experienced team help you choose from a variety of restorative treatments that make you feel and look your best. Not sure what you need? Tell us where your tension is, and we’ll prescribe the perfect remedy.

Massage away your cares

Our highly trained massage team offers a variety of massages that relax your muscles and stimulate the flow of toxin-clearing lymph fluids throughout your body. Massage is associated with a variety of whole-body benefits, such as:

Massage is such a powerful health-promoting tool that it can even reduce the number and severity of headaches and improve your digestion. At Biz MedSpa, you can opt for:

Aromatherapy massage

Combine the healing properties and soothing scents of essential oils made from flowers and herbs with deep-tissue or Swedish massage. Your therapist chooses a scent that helps you achieve a desired state of mind.

The oils stimulate your olfactory system, which then triggers your brain to release soothing chemicals such as endorphins and oxytocin. Deep-tissue massage is an intense massage that’s focused on releasing tension in the deep layers of your muscles and fascia. Swedish massage is gentler and promotes overall relaxation.

Salt scrub and massage

While you relax, your therapist scrubs your back with a mixture of aromatic oils and sea salt. The salt exfoliates your skin while the essential oils penetrate your skin for therapeutic benefits. After the scrub, you shower and then receive a soothing massage.

Shiatsu massage

A form of deep-tissue massage, shiatsu helps your body heal itself. The therapist uses their fingers, thumbs, and palms to apply pressure on specific points throughout your body. Shiatsu improves the flow of energy and removes blockages that can cause pain and stress.

Hot stone therapy

As you lie prone, your therapist places smooth, heated stones along your back at specific points. The heat releases tension and alleviates inflammation in your back muscles and nearby joints. Hot stone therapy is a wonderful add-on to a massage session or can be used as a solo treatment.

Foot reflexology

Reflexology is more than just a foot massage. Your therapist concentrates on various points on your foot, depending on what kinds of stress, anxiety, and pain you’re feeling and where. Each point on the foot corresponds to a different area in your body.

Boost your body’s systems

Our infrared sauna heats you from the inside out, so you stay more comfortable than you do in a traditional sauna while still getting the same benefits. The heat produces thermal stress, much like you produce when you’re exercising, which consists of:

Traditional and infrared saunas are associated with a number of health benefits. Our infrared sauna:

You can also use infrared saunas to speed your recovery from sports injuries.

Look and feel as smooth as silk

Now it’s time for just plain pampering. Your aesthetician can address cosmetic issues with facials and other treatments, such as:
